Individual therapy

I practice therapy that focuses on self understanding and genuine change. Understanding why you think, feel, and act in certain ways allows for lasting change. This kind of understanding comes from exploring your life history, the cultural and societal contexts in which you exist, internal conflicts, relational patterns, your hopes & fears, and ways of being.

The way I practice draws on my undergraduate and graduate education in philosophy, counselling, and psychology. I have received post-graduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Inst and I am undergoing further training as a Fellow of the Psychoanalytic Inst of New England.

Most importantly I recognize that effective therapy requires the development of a real relationship based on trust, curiosity, and courage.

Let’s begin

Please submit your basic personal information and we can arrange an initial consultation to explore the suitability of working together.

I am currently accepting new clients in-person and online.

I am committed to providing therapy to those who truly seek it, and never want money to be a barrier to treatment. If you are experiencing financial hardship we can establish a rate that is feasible.
